Charles Clifton Thomas, 62, of Palmyra, VA. passed away at his residence on Sunday, September 22, 2024. He was the son of the late Preston G. Rickard Sr. and is also predeceased by a brother Gregory “Cricket” Rickard; and is survived by his mother Barbara Jean Rickard of Ivy; his former wife Joyce B. Thomas of Orange; a son Steven Todd Thomas of Orange; two brothers Preston Rickard Jr. and wife Susan of Orange, and Roger Meadows and wife Evelyn of Orange; numerous nieces; and his dog Remi, who brought great joy to his life.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Preddy Funeral Home of Orange is assisting the family.
