Brenda Louise Bishop, 60, of Louisa, Virginia departed this life on Friday, July 9, 2021, at Charlottesville Health & Rehabilitation Center.
Brenda was the daughter of the late Earl and Jeannette Bishop. She was born August 12, 1960, in Charlottesville, Virginia. She was preceded in death by two brothers Roger & Henry Bishop and one sister Lorraine Warner. Paternal Grandparents Roy Lee and Pauline Bishop, Maternal Grandparents Edward and Cora Christmas.
Brenda greeted life with so much joy and love. She was the life of the party and loved to make the family laugh. Her children was her heart and she would do anything for each one of them. During her school years she attended Louisa County High School. After her health started declining she retired from Heritage Hall Nursing Home. At an early age she accepted God into her life and she was a member of Cobham House of God.
She leaves to cherish her memory, three sons Elvin Charles Bridget of Louisa, VA; Ernest Lewis Bishop of Louisa, VA and Joseph Wayne Bishop of Stanardsville, VA, their father Ernest Johnson of Louisa, VA; a devoted friend Larry Sims of Louisa Virginia, four granddaughters Emoni Bishop, Blessing Williams, Lenora Morris and Jazlyna Bishop, and three grandsons Emmanuel Bishop, Emory Bishop and Antonio Bishop. Aunts and Uncles Clara Fortune, Roy (Linda) Bishop, Earline Fortune, Clara Aheart, Alfred Fortune, Fannie Bishop, Robert (Alice) Christmas and Flora (Raymond) Pace.
One brother in law Carson Warner, two sister in laws Mollie Bishop, Jennifer Bishop, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at the Bishop Family Cemetery in Louisa with Apostle James Ragland officiating. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
