Willie Ettenger Walker, 88 of Pratts, Va. passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at Countryside Nursing Home at Pratts. He was born on September 20, 1934 to the late Rollan Ettenger Walker and Mary Elizabeth Willis Walker. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Rollan W. (Mann) Walker and James S. (Jimmy) Walker; three sisters, Ida W. Bell, Mary Elizabeth Lohr and Arlene Walker Jacobs; niece, Dawn Walker; and nephew, Gary Walker.

He was an Army veteran and retired from Piedmont Airlines and Kroger. Willie was a member of Rose Park United Methodist Church, Moose Lodge in Charlottesville, and Madison Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary.

He is survived by his sister, Emily W. Shotwell of Pratts; nieces, Gail Angell, Linda Hurt, Phylis Lohr, Marcia Pitts; nephews, Randy Bell, Wesley Bell, Steve Lohr, Roger Lohr, Ivan Jacobs, Terry Walker, and Ricky Walker.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday October 2, 2022 at Preddy Funeral Home in Madison. Interment will be private.
