William Aubrey Graves, Jr., 75 of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, in Charlottesville, Va. He was born on October 27, 1946 to the late William Aubrey Graves, Sr. and Martha Matile Brown Graves.  He was also preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Graves.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Loretta Knighting Graves; daughter, Teresa Seay and fiance’ Mike of Culpeper; sons, Calvin Graves and wife Diane and Kevin Graves and fiancee’ Sandy all of Brightwood; brothers, Albert Graves and significant other Mary of Crozet, David Graves of Scottsville, Terry Graves and wife Patricia of Greene County; sister, Nancy Garrison of Orange; grandchildren, Ashley Lamb, Bryan Lamb, Stephanie Aylor, Calvin Graves, II, Trenton Graves, and Mariah Graves.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, October 24, 2022 at Preddy Funeral Home in Madison conducted by Glenn Aylor. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
