Wayne “Casey” Talley of Unionville, VA passed away Friday, April 14, 2023, at UVA Hospital in Charlottesville after battling a long and tough illness.

Casey will be fondly remembered by all those who knew him. Casey was a man who valued his family, worked hard, and loved to help someone in need. After his service in the Army, Casey worked for and retired from Williams Co. in Unionville. He avidly loved American History, his country, and University of Virginia Sports. (Go, Hoos!)



Casey was proceeded in death by his father and Mother, Linwood “Tick” & Frances Talley, sister Betty Talley Mason and her husband James. He is survived by his wife Violet (Vi), daughter Lori Young (Greg), sisters Marion Talley Aldridge (Ray) of Huntsville AL. and Elsie Talley of San Francisco CA, his grandchildren Michael Tyndall (Krystal) and Karleigh Young, his bonus grandchildren Nikki Young and Samantha Young, his 2 great-grandchildren and many cousins, nephews, and nieces that he loved very much.

A service honoring Casey’s life will be held at Preddy’s Funeral Home in Orange on April 22, 2023, at 1:00 pm.
