Wade C. Welch, 67, of Louisa Va went to be with the Lord on 1/13/22. He was the beloved husband to his Queenbee, Sharon E. Welch. He was an outstanding husband, a dedicated family man, and a great father. His greatest accomplishment was our two sons, Blake of Louisa and Lowell of Keysville. Lowell blessed us with a daughter when he chose his wife Sarah. Wade’s greatest joy was being Pop to his minions - his four grandchildren that Lowell and Sarah gave him, Alex, Ryan, Hailey and Lilly all of Keysville.

Wade was preceded in death by his mother and father Rhoda and Wilburn; two brothers Lynn and Tommy; a sister-in-law, Mary; and his best friend Greg “tit” Utz.

He also leaves behind four brothers and a sister and their spouses all of Virginia - Ricky, Wesley and Lisa, Randy and Barbara, Tony and Shannon, and Evelyn “Sissy” and Roger. He also leaves behind two sister in laws Doris and Charlotte. A multitude of nieces and nephews and friends will all feel the loss.

Wade was a master welder, truck driver, and in recent years a florist with his wife. He loved his plants, birds, and to fish. He always wanted to just be with his wife and the family they created. Family meant everything to him.

We will celebrate his life at 3 pm on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Madison. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
