Thelma Arlene Collier Morris, January-22-1937 – August-8-2022 was raised in Haneytown, Va. where she loved living. She was the daughter of the late Elbert G. and Carrie Edna Collier whom she devoted many hours to. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James L. Morris; oldest granddaughter, Tonya Elaine Deane Lamb; brothers, Woodie Harrison, Winston Collier, and Albert Collier.

She passed away at her farm on Rosebrook Road with her granddaughter, Crystal Dawn Deane, who was her caregiver, by her side.  We are very thankful mom was able to stay on her farm until her last breath. She died not wanting to go to Hospice or a nursing home. Thanks to UVA Vascular Surgery for being there for our family.

She is survived by her daughter, Jeannette M. Deane “Net Net” and special son-in-law, Gregory “Gee” Deane, who spent endless hours helping anyway they could; granddaughter, Crystal Dawn Deane and friend Dennis Engle; special great-granddaughter whom she helped raise, Willow Earth (Paige) and husband Austin Zeefee; special great-grandson, Hunter Deane Lamb and his dad James (Jamie) Lamb; Hunter tried to check in on Nanny every morning. She helped to raise John (Randy) Snow as a son; sister, Peggy Bohanna and family; sisters-in-law, Allie Collier and family; like a brother, Boo and Ruby Collier and family; Margie Collier and family; Phoebe Dickerson and Donnie Collier; special nephew, Glenn Collier; Lisa and family who visited her in the hospital; and her Shuz Shu, Oreo (AreLow)

To remember Mom, please feed animals or birds, plant a flower or tree, or buy a red dress with roses on it. Remember to love your neighbor. Mom is not dead, she’s only sleeping. Our farm is so lonely.
