Romona Lee Blundon, 71 of Hood, Va, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023 in Charlottesville, Va. She was born on September 30, 1952 to the late Charles Weadon and Marjorie Alexander Weadon. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Douglas Weadon and James Weadon and sister, Cheryl Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Laura Blundon Proffitt; grandchild, Harper Proffitt; sister, Sandra Cover and husband Terry; sister-in-law, Penny Weadon and niece Jenny; nieces, Terri Cover and Breanne Church (Sheri); and nephew, Eric Cover.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Madison with Mary Hood and Alan Gray officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, January 5, 2024 at Preddy Funeral Home in Madison.
