Robert Larry Jackson, 68, of Louisa passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville. 

Born on June 5th, 1955 in Charlottesville, Virginia, Robert came into this world with a passion to help others. He loved working on his vehicles, working in his yard, and spending time with friends and family. Dad always became fully invested in everything his family was passionate about. Robert proudly served his country, community, and family. Robert was an amazing husband, father, papa, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He is loved and will be missed immensely. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Edward Jackson. 

Robert is survived by his mother, Amelia Winn Jackson of Charlottesville; his wife, Bonnie Jackson of Louisa; three sons, Robert Larry Jackson II and fiancée Sierra of Gordonsville, Christopher Dale Jackson and wife Kimberley of Louisa, and Phillip Carnell Jackson and fiancée Brianna of Louisa; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Clarence Jackson and wife Pat of Orange, and Dale Jackson and wife Regina of Orange; three sisters, Phyllis Williams of Philadelphia, Tammy Lewis and husband Larry of Culpeper, and Darcell Jackson of Orange. 

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 13, 2023 from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Preddy Funeral Home in Orange. A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. at the Graham Cemetery in Orange.
