Our beloved mother, Roberta Jalbert, passed away peacefully, in her home on January 15th, 2023, after a long illness. She was a loving mother and grandmother to three children and six grandchildren. She was born in 1949 in New Hampshire to her parents, Robert and Lucille Stiles. She married Allen M. Jalbert in 1972. She moved south in 1999 for longer summers and warmer climate. She was a lover of gardening, the outdoors, animals, good food and Mccoy Tyner. If you were lucky enough to know or encounter her, you will never forget.
“Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so for an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So, Eden sank to grief,
So, dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.”
