Paul Cecil Alderman, 83, of Unionville died Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at his home after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born September 22, 1940 in Huntersville, West Virginia to the late Fred William Thomas Alderman and the late Florence Elizabeth Barnette.

He is survived by his Wife, Linda Campbell Alderman; his constant companion, our rescue dog Brandy; son Gary Scott Alderman of Lexington, North Carolina, and his Mother Roberta of Covington; his brother Fred Alderman of Cleveland, Ohio; his Sisters Joan Woods of Orlando, Florida; Linda Fertig and husband William Fertig of Lewisburg, West Virginia, and Jo Rae Wood and companion Chuck Howard of Marlinton, West Virginia; Grandchildren Timothy and Kelsey; several Great Grandchildren; and several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

He also survived by our loving neighborhood family Luis, Rosa and their children Brianna, Luis, and Alina. They were always there to help us when we needed anything and in making Paul’s life more comfortable and restful in his last days.

Paul was a kind, compassionate, gentlemen who would help anyone in need and a loving husband of 30 years of marriage. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He was employed at Hercules and AET in Covington as a Lab Technician for many years.

He was also prececed in death by his Sister, Nancy Burks and Sister-in-law Jetta Alderman.

In accordance with his wishes, his body was cremated. There will not be a funeral or memorial service at his request. Monetary donations which would appreciated, may be sent to his wife, Linda Alderman at the home address of 10374 Tower Road, Unionville, Virginia 22567.
