Paul Allan Baierl, 62 of Manassas, Va., formally of Pittsburgh, Pa., passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2024. He was born April 27, 1962 to the late James Baierl. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Linda Baierl

He was a graduate of North Hills High School in Pittsburgh and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. He was a highly valued asset to the restaurant industry, ending his career with Smokey Bones BBQ in Woodbridge, Va. His passion and talents were in the art field where his true gifts were working with and sculpting pottery. His last day was spent in the company of great friends hiking in the majestic scenery of the Shenandoah Mountains. All that knew and loved him can understand what a special man and bright spirit he was.

He is survived by his mother, Rose Baierl; his wife of 33 years, Michele Hart Baierl; siblings, Dan, Jim, and Susan; nieces and nephews, Kira, Hailey, Abby Rose, Justin and Benjamin; including extended family and in-laws.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
