Patricia Schaefer Hanson, 70 of Brightwood, Va., passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at her home. She was born on September 2, 1953 to the late Sylvester Schaefer and Evangaline Heltzel Schaefer. She was also preceded in death by her two brothers, Edward Schaefer and John Schaefer.

She is survived by her husband, Curtis Louis Hanson; two sisters, Diane Schaefer Solchenberger and Kathy Schaefer Holl.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Our Lady of the Blue Ridge Catholic Church in Madison, conducted by Father James Bruse. Interment will be held at a later date in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Wisconsin.
