Myrtle Erma Boyles             November 20, 2022

Myrtle “Erma” Boyles, a resident of Brighton, MI, passed from this life into the next on November 20, 2022.

Erma was the beloved wife of Robert Boyles. She was the most loving mother to Robyn (Eric) Banas and cherished grandmother of Hayley, Blake and Chase.

Erma was born on March 28, 1929 to James Obert and Myrtle Mae Robinson in Gilmer County, West Virginia. She had four brothers and six sisters. She married Robert on February 3, 1951.

Erma was employed as a Lunch Lady in the Mayfield City School system in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. In her position, she really enjoyed working with her co-workers. The best part was the family friendly hours that allowed her to be home with her daughter and husband.

Erma was completely devoted to her family. She, along with her husband, Robert, helped with the care of her brother and her sisters in their elder years.

Erma will be remembered as a smart and confident woman with a loving heart. She took care of herself, while looking after many other people. She did everything well, without any complaints.

Erma only wanted the best in life for her family and friends. She was a beautiful gem of a lady, truly one of a kind. She will be so greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Orange Baptist Church, Orange, Virginia or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (stjude.org/givehope).

The family will receive visitors at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Preddy Funeral Home, 250 West Main Street, Orange, Virginia.

Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m.
