Lee Roy Johnson, 83 of Gordonsville, died Wednesday October 13, 2021 at the Martha Jefferson Hospital. Born July 23, 1938 in Fluvanna County, he was the son of the late Thomas Chatman “TC” Johnson and Ethel Mae Johnson. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Gordon Isiah “GI” Johnson and Thomas William Johnson. Lee served in the U.S. Navy and he was retired from UPS. After retirement he worked part time delivering for local auto parts stores.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Juanita June Johnson, one daughter, Stacy Napier and husband Mike of Gordonsville, one son, Kenneth Johnson and wife Deborah of Cape Coral, FL, a brother, Elwood Johnson and wife Pat of Charlottesville, three grandchildren, Bradley Napier and wife Mary of Unionville, Brandon Napier of Gordonsville, Tommy Lee Johnson and wife Kristina of Bumpass, three great-grandchildren, Mason Napier, Blake Napier, Emma Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday October 16, 2021 at Maplewood Cemetery in Gordonsville with Pastor Shawn Edward officiating.
The family would like to thank Chelsea and all of the nurses at Martha Jefferson Hospital for all of their care and support.
