Shirley Snow Shifflett        September 12, 2023

Shirley Snow Shifflett, 75, of Montpelier Road, Orange died on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at the Hospice Acute Care in Charlottesville. Shirley was born on March 27, 1948 in Charlottesville and was the daughter of the late Delma Snow and Dorothy Sprouse Snow, and was also preceded in death by a brother, Donald R. Snow. 

Shirley is survived by her husband James Richard Shifflett of Orange; one step daughter Tina Marie Carter and husband Rocky of Locust Grove; three sons David C. Snow and wife Kim of Culpeper, Michael D. Snow of Orange, Lewis L. Williams Jr and fiancée Mariley of Louisa, and step son James Lee Shifflett and wife Terri of Orange; numerous grandchildren; several great grand children; two brothers Edward L. Snow, and Robert S. Snow and wife Sue both of Orange; three sisters Betty Lohr of Aroda, Doris Pritchett of Orange, and Dale Marie Sisk and husband Danny of Louisa, and a sister-in-law, Marie Snow, of Orange.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at the Preddy Funeral Chapel, Orange with Pastor Steve Whetzel officiating. lnterment will follow at the Ruckersville Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the Preddy Funeral Home, Orange.
