A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Oak Grove United Methodist Church in Aylor, Va. to remember Doris Ann Aylor Judy. The family has requested that masks be worn.

Doris Ann (Aylor) Judy, 84, died on October 19, 2021, in Madison County. Born on August 7, 1937, to Charles Grover and Cora Edna Aylor, Doris was predeceased by her husband, Don and brother, Gordon. She is survived by her son, Donald and daughter-in-law, Kara.
Doris graduated from the Madison public schools,and worked over 40 years as a clerk in the county courts. She spent many decades volunteering, notably supporting the Rescue Squad; and she was devoted to Oak Grove United Methodist Church in Aylor, where she was a lifelong member.
No description here could capture the joy Doris found in other people, nor all her activities, nor her spirit of loving and humble service. She was happiest among a crowd of family and friends, as at a reunion with an abundant food table. We trust her place in eternity includes these good things brought to perfection. A memorial at Oak Grove Church will be planned in coming weeks, details available around the community, or via Preddy Funeral Home in Madison.
We give thanks to God for the great gift that Doris was to us. "And now abideth faith, hope, love - these three; but the greatest of these is love."
