Lucy Ann Wolfrey Hoffman was reunited with her husband, Herbert Lee Hoffman, on their 71st wedding anniversary on September 11, 2022. Born on December 2, 1931 she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Helen Tharp Wolfrey. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shelia Edwards; brothers, Henry Wolfrey and Pete Wolfrey.

Lucy was a retired banker and member of Bethsaida United Methodist Church Cemetery.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen Mason and husband Kenny of Georgia, Larry Hoffman and wife Lynda of Culpeper, Gregory Hoffman of Madison, Warren Hoffman and wife Linda of Orange; sister-in-law, Jean Wolfrey of Culpeper; grandchildren, Joseph Hoffman, Crystal Hoffman, Daniel Clatterbuck, Josh Clatterbuck, Jaye Hoffman, Sarah Hoffman, Ben Hoffman, Christine Austin, Travis Rigney, Katie Moore, Lee Moore, Oscar Codina, and Julian Codina; twenty great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her constant companion/bodyguard, Baby Boo.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Bethsaida United Methodist Church with Pastor Jeff Light officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the church.
