Lucy Ann Via, 78 of Gordonsville, died Tuesday March 1, 2022 at Louisa Health and Rehab. Born November 28, 1943 in Charlottesville, she was the daughter of the late, Floyd Allen Crawford and Lottie May Morris Crawford. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Allen Via, a brother, Earl J. Crawford and a sister, Lucille Riner.
She is survived by two sons, Donnie Crawford of Ruckersville, Allen Via of Charlottesville, four grandchildren, Crystal Morris and husband Lee, Melvin Smith, Jessica Morris and husband Chris, Winfred Crawford and fiancé Dustin Williams, six great-grandchildren, Hannah, Lydia, Colton, Gracie, Nathan, Everly and a host of other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday March 7, 2022 at Maplewood Cemetery in Gordonsville. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sunday March 6 at Preddy Funeral Home in Gordonsville.
