Kenneth Lee Bennett, age 66, passed away on June 13, 2024, in Charlottesville, Virginia. He was born to Kenneth and Floyce (Chapman) Bennett on May 3, 1958, in Orange Park, Florida. 

In 1976, he graduated from Brandon High School in Brandon, Florida, and then served in the United States Air Force. He was an expert appliance repair technician and most recently worked in patient transport. He was a faithful member and deacon at Gordonsville Baptist Church. His daughter and three granddaughters were his greatest blessings. He loved the Florida Gators, cooking, NASCAR, cooking shows, and his most recent hobby was ordering colorful shirts from Temu. He loved his family, his church, and his friends- but he loved nothing more than being a Papa. 

 He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Carlton Bennett, his mother Lily Floyce (Chapman) Bennett, and his beloved dog of 14 years, Coco. 

 He is survived by his brother, Joe Bennett, of Indianapolis, Indiana; daughter, Erica (Bennett) Friedel and husband Rich, of Charlottesville, Virginia; three granddaughters, Haylee, Hannah, and Haidyn. 

 A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Gordonsville Baptist Church, 303 W Gordon Ave, Gordonsville, VA 22942. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 10 a.m. Interment will be private at a later date.
