Julia Constance Clore, 90 of Brightwood, Va., passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023 at Shenandoah Place in New Market, Va. She was born on May 20, 1933 to the late Raymond Lee Clore, Sr. and Anna Carpenter Clore. She was also preceded in death by son, Glenn Coleman Hitt; brother, James Coleman Clore; sisters, Edith Clore Gore, Anna Clore Hale, and Jean Clore Dusch.

She was a member of Mt. Nebo Lutheran Church of Rochelle and a secretary for E. A. Clore & Sons for many years.

She is survived by her daughter, Connie H. Carson and husband Darryl of Harrisonburg; brother, Raymond Lee Clore, Jr. and wife Mabel of Brightwood; sister, Rosalind C. Coates and husband Hugh of Haywood; brother-in-law, Winfred L. Gore of Brightwood; grandchildren, Erik Carson, Anna-Christy Carson, Joel Carson, Ashleigh Blasey, James Coleman Hitt; and 7 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, October 23, 2023 at Hebron Lutheran Church Cemetery with Pastor Johnny Hawkins officiating.
