Judy Moll, formerly of Toledo, Ohio died Sunday, January 16, 2022. She had been living in Mountain View Nursing Home, Aroda, Virginia. Judy was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 29, 1943. She was predeceased by her parents Ralph Manley and Ione Hildreth [Kerstetter] Winebrenner; infant sister Jane Ellen; brother Neil and his wife Georgina [Burkett].

Judy was raised in East Toledo, graduated from Morrison Waite High School, and Flower Hospital School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. Judy married Norman Moll of Wauseon, Ohio on June 5, 1965 who survives, living in North Chesterfield, Virginia. Also surviving are daughter Mona Snyder and her children Declan, Keara, Alayna, and Reece all of Whitehouse, Ohio; and son Joel Moll and his husband Robert Welch of Richmond, Virginia.

 Judy held the position of Registered Nurse at the Cleveland Clinic; St Charles Hospital in Oregon, Ohio; Midway Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota; Flower Hospital in Toledo, Ohio. Judy also used her Registered Nurse education as a pediatric office nurse at South Toledo Pediatrics; as Centralized Scheduling Coordinator at Parkview Hospital, Toledo, Ohio; Centralized Scheduling Coordinator at Ohio Diagnostics, Toledo, Ohio; was a reliable participant in the Harvard Medical School “Nurses Health Study” for 40 years; and retired early to help care for her brother who was diagnosed with cancer. Judy was an active member of Toledo Public Schools Ottawa River Elementary School Parent-Teachers Association and the Woodward High School Band Parents where she volunteered as Publicity Chairperson and Band Camp Adult Counselor. Judy also served on the Board of Directors of the Toledo Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. In late 2014, Judy and Norm moved to Otterbein North Shores independent living which is adjacent to Lakeside, Ohio. Judy had been diagnosed with dementia, but enjoyed the activities at Otterbein, and Lakeside which provided restaurants, walks and picnics by Lake Erie, many shops, and the Hoover Auditorium where we enjoyed 28 musical concerts during the summer of 2015 while living at Otterbein. In mid-2016, Judy and Norm moved to Richmond, Virginia to live with their son, Joel, and his husband, Robert Welch. Judy lived in residential memory care facilities since January of 2017.

A graveside remembrance for the family will be at the Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania, Ohio.  A memorial service is proposed, to be announced at a later date. Assisting with arrangements are Preddy Funeral Home, Madison, Va. and Toledo Memorial Park.
