John Garlick Coyle, 85, of Bibb Store Road, Louisa died at the Dogwood Village of Orange on Friday, April 21, 2023. He was born on April 14, 1938, in Washington, D. C., and was the son of the late James Lawson Coyle and Jane Isabel Garlick Coyle. He was also predeceased by his wife Mary Elizabeth Lambdin Coyle. He was an Army Veteran and a retired foreman in landscaping for the Federal Govt.

He is survived by two daughters Sharon Valdes of Locust Grove, and Karen Wallace of Bealeton; five grandchildren Valerie Wallace, Melanie Wallace, Rachel Valdes, Garrick Valdes, and Olivia Valdes; and one sister Caroline Gordon of Waldorf, MD.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Preddy Funeral Home of Orange is assisting the family.
