Joanne Taylor, 67 of Gordonsville died Thursday February 10, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Maryland on April 15, 1954, to the late Matthew Earl Quade and Sue Ann Lowe Quade. She was also preceded in death by her husband Jerry Wayne Taylor and two daughters, Darcy Ann Taylor and Tammy Marie Taylor.
She is survived by two daughters, Adrienne Short and husband Monte of Keswick, Amanda Carter and husband Philip of Gordonsville, one brother, Matthew Quade of Mineral, four sisters, Kathy Morgan, Peggy Cosby, Christine Tawney all of Gordonsville, Barbara Taylor of Mineral, a grandson, Jaxson Wayne Short and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday February 15, 2022 at Preddy Funeral Home in Gordonsville with interment to follow in Maplewood Cemetery. Chaplin Denise Vogt will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday evening, February 14, 2022 at the funeral home
