Jean H. Johnson, born on November 16, 1939, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at the age of 81.
Jean worked at Sperry Marine for several years. After leaving Sperry she worked in different departments at the University of Virginia Hospital.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband Allen A. Johnson and her parents Kinckle A. Harris and Willie Virginia Frame. Also, a brother Lloyd A. Harris and sister-in-law Jean M. Harris and grandchildren Kristina Renee’ & Riley Hamshar, Jr.
Jean is survived by her children Robin C. Harris of Lovingston, Ronnie A. Johnson (Sandra), Joseph D. Johnson (Lilly) all of Gordonsville, Doris Johnson Ryder (Jeff) of Barboursville, Sharon Johnson (Robby) of Fork Union, and Larry Johnson (Tina) of Gordonsville and a Stepson Adam Johnson (Bobby) of West Virginia. Jean is also survived by her sister Virginia (Frosty) Mann and Special Brother-in-law Jimmy Mann of Lynchburg. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Also left to cherish her memory are 22 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.

A Graveside service will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021, at 2 pm at Holly Memorial Gardens in Charlottesville, Va. With Pastor Terry Jewell officiating. The family will welcome family and friends at her home in Gordonsville after the service.
