Jay Page Morris of Greene County, VA passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at the age of 54, at the University of Virginia Hospital with his wife, daughters, and loyal black lab by his side. He was the youngest child of Charlotte B. Sharp Morris and the late Hensel B. Morris. He was survived by his loving wife Karen J. Morris, daughters Amber M. Morris (Josh) and Rachel D. Morris, and bonus daughters Danielle N. Jones (Travis) and Allison K. Gent, sister Lisa M. Pence (Chuck), and niece Sydney P. Gleason (Codie). He was an adoring Pop to two grandchildren, Bentley A. Morris, and Kaiden O. Jones.

Jay was born in Charlottesville, Virginia where he attended Albemarle County High School and later graduated from his beloved hometown college – The University of Virginia. He was a loving husband and proud father. He enjoyed spending time with his family, training his black labs – Pepper and Daisy, and learning new songs on his guitar. Jay worked as a facilities manager with CBRE after his 25-year tenure with State Farm. The family and friends that have survived him will miss him immensely.

A memorial to honor and celebrate his life will be held at Orange Baptist Church, Orange, VA on May 23, 2023, at 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be given to The University of Virginia or the charity of your choice, in Jay’s honor.
