James Winston Tredway III, 78, of Orange passed away at Dogwood Village in Orange on Saturday, November 2, 2024. He was born on January 18, 1946 in Richmond and was the son of the late James Winston Tredway Jr and Lucy Virginia Floyd Tredway. He was also predeceased by his wife Katherine Wherry Tredway. He was a retired attorney and U. S. Army Veteran.

Jim is survived by his wife’s brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John Wherry of Charlottesville.

“Although Jim had no other surviving family, he was blessed to have a loving church family in Abundant Life Christian Fellowship. He was grateful for their friendship and their prayers. Jim is now walking with Jesus in his forever home.”

A graveside memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at the Culpeper National Cemetery. Preddy Funeral Home of Orange is assisting the family.
