James Kenneth Conley, 85 of Stanardsville, Va.; passed away on January 2,2024, at his home. He was born on August 11,1938. He was the son of the late Lonnie Lee Conley and Minnie Beasley Conley. He was proceeded in death by his first wife, Mary Alice McFarland Conley, three brothers, Prentice L., Gene A. and Johnny Early and half-brother, Haywood(Ooster).

James Conley was a person of many talents. He was well liked in the community and had many friends and will be missed dearly.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years Joyce Shifflett Harris Conley. His son, Kenneth Wayne Conley and wife (Deborah); three beloved and appreciated stepchildren J.R. Harris and wife (Gail),Libby Harris Dale and husband (Gary),Dennis Harris and wife (Tracy); grandsons Cougar and Colton; eight great-step grandchildren; sister, Roberta C. Lamb; brother, Jerry L. Conley and wife (Tammy);half-sister, Linda; two half-brothers, Harold and Karl; numerous loved extended family members; and his precious dog, Lucy.

At his request, there will be no service.
