For forty-five years he dedicated his life to his career in law enforcement, leaving an indelible mark in the community. He also was employed at Open Door Christian School where he invested time and knowledge that impacted many students to this day.
As an active member of the Freemasons, he embraced the principles of Freemasonry by promoting fellowship, moral values, and personal growth. His dedication to improving the world will be commemorated through his significant contributions to both the organization and the community.
Jimmy was a remarkable man, a loving husband, a devoted father, a nurturing grandfather, and a cherished friend. His kindness, generosity, and wisdom touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Enthusiastically, he shared his passion for antique cars with his family, thereby creating numerous lasting memories. He had an enduring love for watching his grandson play baseball, which brought him immense happiness throughout the end of his life.
In his role as a grandfather, he found immense joy and fulfillment. His two beloved grandchildren brought endless happiness into his life. He cherished the moments spent with them, passing on his wisdom and love, creating unforgettable memories that will forever be treasured.
Jimmy was a devoted family man. He leaves behind his loving wife, Judy Guthrie, with whom he shared a bond that transcended time and trials.
