Bennie Mayes Heath Jr

On Monday, June 19, 2023, Master Trooper Bennie Mayes Heath Jr. gained his wings at Reston Hospital with his wife of 41 years Carolyn Heath and his son Steve Heath by his side.

Bennie is survived by his wife, Carolyn Wolfrey Heath; one brother, Walter Vincent Heath (Cathy); two sons, Steve Heath (Betty) and Jeffrey Heath (Tonya); two stepsons, James Ryder Jr and Robert Franklin Ryder (Cheryl); one stepdaughter, Tina Ann Pugh; ten grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.

Bennie is preceded in death by his parents Bennie Mayes Heath Sr and Katherine Abernathy.

Funeral services will be held at Preddy’s Funeral Home in Gordonsville, VA. Family night is Friday, June 23rd 6:00-8:00 pm. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 24th at 11:00 am.
