Hayden Charles “Charlie” “Chuck” Curry IV, 38, of Orange, Va., passed away peacefully at home with his mother and sister by his side, on October 20, 2022. Born September 1, 1984, he was the son of Janet Curry and the late Hayden Charles “Buzz” Curry III.

 Charlie lived life to the fullest doing the things he loved. He loved all things nature, music, camping, fishing, hiking, kayaking, art, skateboarding, BMX biking, playing with his nephews, and always caring for his mom. Charlie was a member of the garage bands, Yukow and Mighty Mart, where he played the drums. He was a certified Reiki Master and used his gift for healing animals and pets.

 Charlie is survived by his devoted mother, Janet Curry; sister Christina Rigney and husband, Travis Rigney; nephews, Caleb and Nathan Morris, Travis Jr., Guy Rigney, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Buzz Curry.

 A celebration of life will be held at a future date. The family would like to thank Hospice of the Piedmont for their compassionate treatment of Charlie while in the care of his mother. Preddy Funeral Home of Orange is assisting the family.
