Gordon Brandon Regan, 82, concluded his earthly journey on May 11, 2024, at his residence, surrounded by loved ones. He was born on December 12, 1941, at Harkness Pavilion located in New York, NY, to parents Gordon Sala Regan and Mignon Brown Casseday.
Gordon graduated in 1965 from Rollins College with a Bachelor's Degree in English, and was on the Dean’s List. In the mid 1980's, he retired from his job at Con Edison in New York to move to Gordonsville, VA, and take care of his stepmother, Elba Campos in her last years.
He was an active member in the Gordonsville community, an entrepreneur, a board member for the Gordonsville Board of Architectural Review, and a member of the Gordonsville United Methodist Church where he sung in the choir and served faithfully as an acolyte. One of Gordon’s hobbies was collecting antiques, and he saw the beauty in old things that the rest of us would not give a second glance to.
Remaining to cherish his memories are his sister-in-love, Martha Ramirez De Perez; brother-in-love, Fernando Perez; nephews, Louis Antonio and Fernando Perez, Jr., and a granddaughter, Alexi; as well as numerous friends.
A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 31, 2024, at Gordonsville United Methodist Church in Gordonsville, Va., with the Rev. Dana Peebles-Thadikonda officiating.
