Gladys Lordine Breeden, 81 of Crozet died Sunday December 19, 2021 at her residence. Born January 22, 1940 in Columbus, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Franklin Black and Evelyn Morrison. Mrs. Breeden worked for many years in the cafeteria at Martha Jefferson Hospital.

She is survived by her husband, Carl Preston Breeden, Sr. of Crozet, three daughters, Sharon Adams and husband Daniel of Toccoa, GA, Teresa Riddle and husband Billy of Crozet, Belinda Wright and husband Gordon of Gordonsville, two sons, Lewis Breeden and wife Brenda of Crozet, Carl Breeden, Jr. and wife Karen of West Virginia, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, one great great-grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday December 22, 2021 at Maplewood Cemetery in Gordonsville.

Preddy Funeral Home of Gordonsville is handling arrangements.
