Faye Timberlake Cooper passed away August 14, 2021 at the Dogwood Village in Orange, Va. at the age of 76. Faye was born on March 27, 1945 in Charlottesville, VA to the late James E. Timberlake and Edith Bourne Timberlake.

 She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Rea Cooper and two sons Bill Cooper (Tina) and Jonathan Cooper (Amy).  She is survived by her grandchildren, Brittany, Jenny, Erika, Chloe and Seth and 8 great-grandchildren, her siblings, Janet Rider (Gary), Deborah T. Hudson (George), Joan Timberlake and James E. Timberlake III (Page), Curtis R. Timberlake (uncle) and Audrey Timberlake (aunt). She is also survived by her loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of long-time friends and neighbors.

Faye worked for State Farm in Charlottesville, Virginia for 42 years and retired in 2008. Faye was a member of the Orange Baptist Church in Orange, Virginia.

There will be a service on August 21, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Orange Baptist Church on 123 W. Main Street in Orange, Virginia with Rev. Alan Miller officiating. Burial will follow at the Monticello Memory Gardens at 670 Thomas Jefferson Parkway Charlottesville, Virginia at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Orange Baptist Church, 123 W. Main Street, Orange, Virginia 22960.
