Emma Jean Wells, age 66, of Louisa, Virginia, passed away on February 16, 2024 in Charlottesville.

Born on September 14, 1957 in Charlottesville, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Stanley Frye and Emma Lee Wells. In addition to her parents, Emma was preceded by three brothers, Henry Wells, James Wells and Prescott Wells.

Emma is survived by her brothers, David Wells of Louisa, VA, and Stanley Wells and his wife Linda of Fluvanna County; and her sisters, Trina Willis of Annapolis, MD, Vernelle Morris of Louisa, VA, Joyce Kemp of Louisa, VA, and Lillie Richardson and her husband Vivian of Louisa, VA

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, February 23, 2024 at Preddy Funeral Home in Gordonsville. The family will greet friends during a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Wayland Baptist Church Cemetery.
