Edward Bennett Clore, Jr., 91 of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at his home. He was born on January 12, 1930 to the late Edward Bennett Clore, Sr. and Isabelle Victoria Lohr Clore. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Mildred Clore Berrey and Carolyn Clore Turner.
Edward was former president and part-owner in the Clore Furniture Company. He was a life member of the Madison County Volunteer Fire Company.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine Elizabeth Taylor Clore; step-son, Vincent Hensley of Elkton, Va.; step-grandson, Shannon Hensley of Port Republic, Va.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Madison. Pastor Jason Darty will officiate.
