Dwight Wayne Roach (Dwayne), 54 of Ruckersville passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2022. He was born June 10, 1968, in Charlottesville. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Tally and Virginia Roach; maternal grandparents, Bentley Dye and Charlotte Ford; and step-father, Malon “Jr.” Aylor.
Dwayne was a tile and floor installer, hard worker and took pride in what he did. He was a giving and sharing person, who loved to cook for family and friends. In his free time, he enjoyed watching movies and pick his guitar. You wouldn’t catch him working without humming a tune. Dwayne, go rest in peace. You will be missed by family and friends.
He is survived by his parents, Donald Wayne Roach and wife Marlene of Dyke and his mother, Shirley Lovern Aylor of Madison; brother Jeffrey W. Roach of Stanardsville; step-sister, Tracey Aylor; step-brother, Anthony Aylor, both of Culpeper; nephew, Trenton Roach of Stanardsville and a niece, Taylor Roach of Orange; and a host of aunts, uncle and cousins.
A celebration of life will be 11:00 am Tuesday August 16, 2022, at Preddy Funeral Home in Madison with interment in Madison Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour before the service from 10 to 11am at the funeral home. After the interment there will be a time of fellowship at the mother’s home.
