Donald Wayne Shifflett (Boone), 69 of Stanardsville, Va., passed away at his residence on October 13, 2024 surrounded by his family. He was born on December 30, 1954 to the late Daniel Shifflett and Ruby Blanche Breeden Shifflett. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia K. Shifflett; two daughters, Chanda Marie and Susan Rae Shifflett; three sisters, Gloria Jean Breeden, Diane Hawks, Carolyn Ables; and brother, Gregory Shifflett.

He is survived by his daughter, Amber N. Bondurant and husband Nicolas, Sr. of Stanardsville; two grandsons, Nicolas R. Bondurant, Jr. and wife Shand and Triston M. Bondurant; two great-granddaughters, Tinsley and Harper Bondurant; sister, Barbara Shifflett; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 17, 2024 with interment in Pocosin Mountain Cemetery. Pastor Ed Winkler will officiate.
