Dianne Larson Huso, 79, of Stanardsville, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022. She was born on November 29, 1942, to the late Victor Russell Larson and Lois Nerem Larson of Cottonwood County, Minnesota.
Dianne devoted her life to education, spending 39 years teaching English, most of that time at Madison County High School in Madison, Virginia. She retired in 2002.
Dianne is survived by her husband of 60 years, Kenneth Breckenridge Huso of Stanardsville; her daughter, Deborah Rae Huso of Charlottesville; granddaughter, Heidi Rayna Grimes of Charlottesville; and her brother, Bruce Dean Larson of Worthington, Minnesota.
A formal visitation will be held between 3 and 5 p.m., Sunday, May 22, at Preddy Funeral Home in Madison. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, May 23, at Hebron Lutheran Church in Madison.
Dianne’s family has requested that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to Madison County High School, Dianne Huso Scholarship Fund, at 68 Mountaineer Lane, Madison, Virginia 22727.
