Deborah Kay Lawson, 64 of Staunton, formally of Green County, passed away on December 8, 2021 at Augusta Health. She was born on April 6, 1957 to the late Melvin Lawson and Alder Lee Shifflett Lawson.
She was always smiling and enjoyed going on drives and to Walmart Shopping. She loved her black coffee, the hotter the better.
She is survived by her aunt Madeline Shifflett; cousin Glen Shifflett and wife Kimberly all Madison County; and cousin Donnie Shifflett of Stanardsville, who kept a daily check on Debbie while at Evergreen Nursing Care.
A private service will be held at a later date.
