Daniel Lee Tanner 70 of Louisa, Va. Passed away December 5, 2021 at University of Virginia Hospital. He was born March 22, 1951 in Gordonsville, Va. and was the son of Delma Lewis Tanner and Virginia Morris Tanner. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Delma Lewis Tanner, Jr.
He was employed with Dominion Power for 41 years, and was a United States Army Veteran. He was an avid hunter and was a member of the Piedmont Sportsman Club, and Bibb Store Hunt Club.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Lois Seay Tanner of Louisa; son Joshua Mitchell Tanner and wife Kelly Tanner of Ruckersville; sister Patricia Tanner and brother Garland Tanner both of Cape Elizabeth ME; and granddaughter Adalyne Tanner of Ruckersville.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday December 9, 2021 at Preddy Funeral Home in Gordonsville, Va. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:00pm 1 hour prior to service at the funeral home.
