Claude Roy Jobber, 77 formerly of Arlington, Va. passed away on June 21, 2022.

 

He was a retired US Capitol Police officer, U.S. Marine, 3rd Battalion 4th Marine Division, received the Purple Heart and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a member of the Washington Canoe Club, Disabled American Veterans, VFW, American Legion and the Fraternal Order of Police. He was also a volunteer and leader in the Boy Scouts of America and a volunteer for the National Park Service.

 

He is survived by his son Scott Jobber and wife Julia Dezarn-Jobber of Holden Beach, NC and Jennifer Joyce Jobber-Spence and husband Jason Spence of Culpeper, VA.

Grandchildren, Jessica Jobber, Tyler Jobber, Landon Jobber-Spence, and Cameron Jobber- Spence.

 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

 

Preddy Funeral Home, Madison, Virginia is assisting the family.
