Clarence M. Schmucker                                            October 13, 2024

 Clarence M Schmucker,76 of Oskaloosa Kansas, passed away Sunday, October 13, 2024 after a lengthy illness.  He was born January 2, 1948 in Nappanee, Indiana to the late Martin E Schmucker and Barbara Hochstetler Schmucker.   He was preceded in death by his wife, the late Lydia Ann Schmucker; his parents, 6 brothers; and 2 sisters.

 He was baptized as a youth and was a member of the Oak Grove Mennonite Church, Aroda, Va. He married Lydia Ann Mast of Holladay, TN on November 27, 1969.


 He is survived by two daughters, Nora and husband Robert Troyer, Aroda, Va. and Leanna and husband Mervin Glick, Stanardsville, VA; two sons, Robert and wife Elva Jean, Oskaloosa, KS and Nelson and wife Janice, Oskaloosa, KS; seventeen grandchildren- Bethany Troyer Kipps, Meredith Troyer Martin, Julie Troyer Yoder, Kendell Troyer, Benson Troyer, Norabeth Schmucker Miller, Rhonda Schmucker Yoder, Mari Schmucker, Amy Glick Mast, Sarah Glick Eby, Lydia Glick, Curtis Glick, Andrew Glick, Landon Schmucker, Tristan Schmucker, Cassandra Schmucker, Miranda Schmucker; fifteen Great- grandchildren, Greyson , Autumn, Miles, and Ember Kipps, Bryce, Annabelle, Berkley, and Clark Martin, Griffin and Eden Yoder, Ivana, Camellia, and Nicholas Miller, Amber Eby, Dante Mast; 3 sisters Katie Mast, MI; Sylvia Mast, Etna Green IN; Ida Wagler, Nappanee, IN; 3 brothers Daniel and wife Esther of Franklin ,KY; Joseph and wife Carol of Hutchinson, KS., John Henry and wife Tillie of Franklin, KY; and  numerous nieces and nephews.


 Clarence loved his family, was a hard worker in his earlier years, enjoyed reading, and visiting with people. 


There will be a visitation from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm on Thursday, October 17,2024 at Oak Grove Mennonite Church, Aroda, Va.  The funeral will be at 10:00 am on Friday, October 18, 2024 at the church.
