Charles Cleveland McGuire, 74, of Haywood, Va. passed away on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at his home. He was born on January 23, 1947 to the late Grover Cleveland McGuire and Frances Marie Breeden McGuire. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Henshaw McGuire; a brother, James Breeden, and a sister, Vernie Sullivan.

He retired from Comdial, was a member of the Society of Plastics Engineers and was an U. S. Army Vietnam Veteran.

He is survived by his two sons, Charles Cleveland McGuire, II and wife Courtney and Thomas Michael McGuire; brother, Michael Lee McGuire; sister, Judy Spencer; grandchildren, Sydney McGuire, Pierce McGuire, and Trevor McGuire; and special friend, Violet Green.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, July 26, 2021 at Novum Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Light officiating.
