Charles "Bubba" Clements III         June 14, 2024

Charlie “Bubba” Clements of Orange, was born on April 17, 1955, in Charlottesville, Virginia, and rose to God’s calling when he passed unexpectedly on Friday, June 14, 2024. Bubba was predeceased by his father, Charlie Edward Clements II, and his mother, Phyllis Morris Clements. He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Nancy Elizabeth Clements; brother William Douglas Clements; sisters Phyllis Arlene Wilson, Wanda Jean Mullins, Pattie Kaye Inyoue, Martha Annette Cline and Debra Leigh Martin; son Douglas Edward Clements; daughter April Nichole and grandchildren.

Bubba graduated in 1974 from Osbourn High School in Manassas and worked 50 years in construction with Cornwell Building of Manassas.

He enjoyed life in the outdoors, hunting, and fishing, especially on the occasions when his wife Nancy would accompany him! He was a man who loved his wife unconditionally, with much honor and respect, a man strong in his faith and firm in his beliefs about life. He was a friend to ALL who met him because he had a heart of gold, always thought of others before himself, and treated everyone with the love of Christ. He always made sure to squeeze in time to help someone in need.

You could find him most evenings passionately sharing his time and talents to help build the ministry of “Pets With a Purpose”. He enjoyed the animals and friendships that were on the farm, and then sitting around sharing stories at the end of the day!

He was a member of Abundant Life Christian Fellowship where he served as a deacon and was lovingly known as the lollipop man, giving hugs and handing out lollipops to all the children as they came through the doors of the church. At the fellowship meals, Bub most enjoyed cooking with the guys and challenging anyone in a game of cornhole. He was a powerful prayer warrior and if you knew him, you knew when he took off his ballcap, it was time to bow your head in prayer.

Bubba will always be a cherished memory in the hearts of those who loved him. We know he has graduated to a better place and while our hearts ache here on earth, all of heaven rejoices! We will carry on until we meet again in all of heaven’s glory.

Please pray for his wife Nancy, and his family and friends as we journey ahead without him.

In honoring his wishes, no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Abundant Life Christian Fellowship (building fund), memo: Bubba’s memory, 19103 Brick Church Road, Orange, Virginia 22960.
