Brittney Nicole Alexander, 37, of Wright Street, Gordonsville, died on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at the Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital, Charlottesville. She was born on April 8, 1985, in Charlottesville, and was the daughter of the late William Sheldon Alexander Sr.

She is survived by her mother Teresa Raines Alexander of Gordonsville; four daughters Destinee Chiane Alexander, Dezyire Oktober Alexander, D’viyne Lee Alexander, and Daija Kai-lan Alexander all of Gordonsville; one son Dai’messiah Diyce Matta Alexander of Gordonsville; one grandchild Kehlani Octavia Alexander of Gordonsville; one brother W. Sheldon Alexander Jr. and wife Sarah of Charlottesville, and two sisters Brandy S Alexander and Christopher L. Carter of Louisa, and Taylor Chandler of Gordonsville.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2023, at 1:00 P. M. at the Preddy Funeral Chapel, Orange. Interment will be held in the Graham Cemetery, Orange with the Rev. John Reid Officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 11, 2023, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the Preddy Funeral Home, 250 West Main St., Orange, VA. 22960.
