Brenda Ann Knight, 60, from Orange, VA passed away on February 16, 2022. Brenda was born on July 28, 1961 to Bobby Lee Knight and June Ann “Sprouse” Knight, in Charlottesville, VA. Brenda was a believer and is at eternal rest with her Lord and Savior.
Brenda was a graduate of Orange County High School and has resided in Orange County, VA her entire life. She has spent her years taking care of others, from children to seniors. Brenda’s greatest joy was being kind to others and taking care of those around her. She was employed as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) at Americare Plus for many years.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents and a niece, Octavia Quarles. She is survived by her daughter, Tina Marie Knight, and son, Michale Lee Knight, both of Orange, her sisters, Bobbie Jo Knight of Orange, and Betty Jean Southard of Madison. She is also survived by her grandchildren Arianna Nichole Strong and Brandon Michael Strong, her nieces and nephews; Olivia Knight, Angela Gallihugh, Jyssika Perkins and Xavier Wells, and her great niece and nephew; Aubrey and Lilyanna Blakey, Sh’Riyah Knight and Desmond Rickard and Sir Ronan Kai Coleman. She also leaves many wonderful friends and cousins.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at the Oakwood Cemetery in Unionville, VA. Brenda may be viewed at the Preddy Funeral Home, 250 W. Main Street, Orange, VA on Monday, February 21 from 1 PM - 5 PM, Tuesday, February 22 from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM and Wednesday, February 23 from 8:30 - 9:30 AM. A luncheon will be held following the funeral service on Wednesday at the Orange Church of the Nazarene, 159 W. Nelson Street, Orange, VA. Preddy Funeral Home in Orange, VA is assisting the family with arrangements.
