Barbara Jean Sipe, age 52, of Scottsville, Virginia, passed away at home on June 30, 2024.

Born on March 11, 1972, she was the daughter of Carolyn Garrison. She was preceded in death by her sons, Dakota and Lewis Adcock; her grandparents, Walter and Dorothy Sipe; and her aunt, Nancy Sipe.

Barbara loved old country music and was an old soul. She loved her family and her black Camaro she drove.  She was a dedicated Chevrolet lady.

Barbara is survived by her partner, Shannon Adcock; her daughters, Samantha Carosella and Savannah Adcock; her brother, Jack Sipe; her sister, Tina Garrison; her grandchildren, Drea Carosella, Arya Carosella, June Adcock, and Hailey Adcock;  her son-in-law, Kristopher Carosella; and her nieces, Brittney Corbin, Chasity Brown, and Katelyn Moses.

Her funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Preddy Funeral Home in Gordonsville, with a visitation one hour prior. Graveside service will follow at Rock Gate Cemetery in Crozet, Virginia.
