Aubrey Robertson passed away peacefully in his home that he shared with his wife, Lynne Payton Robertson, on Monday February 20 2023 in Mineral Virginia at age 68.

Aubrey Robertson is survived by his loving spouse, Lynne Payton Robertson, his children: Kevin Williamson (his wife Alesha), Carla Robertson (her boyfriend Dale),Sharon Taylor (Her boyfriend Steve), Michelle Shelton (her husband Travis), Shawn Robertson, Leslie Wells ( her husband David), and Aubrey Robertson Jr. and his sisters: Kathy Hicks ( her husband Mike), Faye Payton, Debbie Walker (her husband Lindsey), and Patty Hilliard (her husband Robin) along with his special mother in law Betty Payton.  Others include his many nieces and, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. 

Aubrey was born September 3^rd  1954 in Richmond Virginia to Carl Robertson and Irnell Carter Robertson. Aubrey lived a life of many achievements such as being a deputy for the county of Louisa County Virginia, a retired Chief 6-1 of Trevilions Fire Department, and a Chart Member of Louisa County Rescue Squad where he specialized in Heavy Tactical Rescue along with Dive and Rescue Team. Wherever Aubrey was he was always an active member of the community and everyone knew him. Aubrey was a loving individual who went above and beyond to help others and bring a smile to every family member, friend, neighbor, coworker, and strangers face. He also enjoyed the open roads riding his Harley Davidson. He was a loving husband, a best friend, and an incredible grandfather and great grandfather to his grand children : Grayson, Delanie (Lanie), Isabella (Bella), Gabriel (Gabe), Hannah, Cameron, Caleb, Jalashia, Courtney (Cookie), Aiden, Zane, Zachary Owen, Christian (Snickerdoodle), Kirsten, TJ, Nolan, Cassie Rae, Tristan, Justin, Jacob; and great granddaughter Brynlee.

An open casket will be scheduled on February 23 from 9-5 at Preddy’s Funeral Home in Gordonsville Virginia. His burial service will be Scheduled Friday February 24 at 11:00 am at Hillcrest Cemetery and services will be provided by Spike Weeks.  All are invited to come Celebrate Aubrey’s life with family and friends.
