Ashley Kristin Franklin, 33, of Zion Crossroads VA, passed away unexpectedly at her home on November 16, 2021.

Born in Charlottesville, VA on May 9, 1988, Ashley graduated from Louisa County High School class of 2006 and went on to attend college at Old Dominion University. Ashley worked several years for the University of Virginia Medical Center and University Physicians Group. Ashley was also a member of Mechanicsville Baptist Church, where as a teenager and young adult served on many mission trips where she would go to help others.

Ashley will be remembered best for her kind heart, gentle soul, and infectious laughter. She also loved animals, especially her two cats, Cheeto and Loki, who she loved dearly.

Ashley was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Robert Dollins; paternal grandmother, Minnie Franklin; Father, James Franklin, and nephew, Hank Franklin.

She is survived by her mother, Janice Franklin, maternal grandmother, Catherine Dollins; brothers, Brandon (Heather) Franklin and Tim (Casey) Franklin; nieces and nephew, Heath, Harper, Shelby, Caroline, and Melody; numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins, and special friends, Jason Rogers, and Rachael Myers, among many other important people in her life.
